Twerlyn’s Bloggadag

Before semestral break started(Oct 29-Nov 2), Bienne’s teacher assigned the class to memorize the Poem “All Things Bright and Beautiful”. I was familiar with the poem because I memorized and recited it when I was in Grade 1. I taught Bienne how to deliver the poem and bingo! She is one of the finalists for this year’s voices of children in their school(Play House Children’s Center). The finals will be on the 23rd of November. I’m just so proud of Bienne. Hope she’ll win the contest. According to her teacher, Bienne is small but terrible!hehehe! I also got her first grading result and wow I’m speechless!hehe!

I have one more thing to tell, teacher Elena asked me to tell a story(storytelling) in from of the class next week! And have a chance to bring home a prize for my child. I think teacher Elena has no idea that I’m an ex-teacher, and so I said ok, I’ll participate in the school “Book Month”. She was happy that I accepted her request. I will just do it for Bienne though.

What a day for me, I cried twice (tears of joy though)!! First thing in the morning and at noon time! Why? hhhhmmm …. Everytime my fiancé would say something like “Babe, I can’t wait for the day that you become my wife“, I shed tears immediately. And he mentioned that to me twice today, one over the phone and the other one through video call. Yeah, he saw me crying! And I told him, how much more on the wedding day?! What will happen to my make-up? And we laughed out loud…hehehe! That’s my story for today.

I was so surprised today because I got a message from Lovi/Loves(WitchyBoop)..and she said the poem that I requested is ready to copy-paste from her blog! Gosh that was so fast! It was only yesterday when I asked her to make one for me, but It was just a joke(but true)! Lovi is one of my fave bloggers..I like her style, she’s a great poet! I used to recite poetry when I was younger, but i have never been a poetry writer! In short, I am a frustrated poet! Hehehe ! Lovi, thank you very much!

An Ode to Twerlyn

It is a wonder to know someone like Twerlyn
She is not the ego-centric old witch in snow White fairytale
Who revealed in the process of gazing into her mirror
By asking who is the fairest of them all
She can give you words that will easily make you love her
She will make you feel fresh
She will never frightens your being
She is one inspiration indeed

Why she is so friendly
Why she is so true
And above all these
Why she is so beautiful
Maybe because she is created
To make the world untwisted

Radish who?

I’m not a person, I’m an edible root!hehehe!

I just want to share my favorite appetizer with you! Do you know my secret on how to prepare it without using your force to get rid with the strong taste due to radish juice? But before I’ll tell what’s the secret, I have a story first about radish. There was this old woman maybe she was 65yo at that time, a landlady of mine for 1month. And I noticed that she’s eating radish salad every meal! She was kind of a strict person, and so for 1week, I didnot mind seeing her having a hard time preparing her radish salad (you know by pressing the sliced radish so hard using 2 hands with salt in it.) I can’t take to see it anymore and so I shared to her my secret! And she said, “Wow! For almost 50 years I’ve been eating radish salad, I didnot know that it is just so simple to prepare!” ….bumait cia bigla! Buti nga sa kanya!hehehe!

Here’s how:

1.Prepare other ingredients like sliced tomatoes,onion,ginger,salt,calamansi,and vinegar , and then set aside.

2.Peel the radish and slice it thinly. Then get a bowl and put cold water and ice cubes. Soak the radish for 15mins, and drain.

3. Mix all the ingredients.

Tikman mo, ang radish naging lasang singkamas!hehe!

After 3months of talking with Teddybear (Char) at Bisayan section of ASC, we finally met today at Ayala mall of Cebu! I’ve been a member of several forums online for 3years now but its my first time to meet with a member in person. Though I met one member(Cheerful) before but by coincidence only in a certain place.
We talked a lot of things and we just stopped chitchatting when the mall was closing. I’m honored that she really find time meeting with me even though she doesn’t have much time coz she’s leaving for Iceland very soon(Nov5). Char, Thank u so much for your time, I enjoyed a lot..God Bless You… Happy trip!

I’m not talking about the movie “40 Days and 40 Nights” here but I’m talking about the exact number of days and nights when me and my hubby-to-be will be together again and will not separate ever again. I mean, from his previous trips here in the Philippines, I always worried about tomorrow or the day that he has to leave again for US. But now, all I think is the day to day living with my one and only love (AP). Isn’t it exciting that finally after all those months and years been waiting for the right timing will come very soon? Gosh! I’m so excited and overwhelmed each day! I’m one of the lucky women on earth having a guy like him, he’s willing to move here no matter what the country can offer. He is simply the best! What more I can ask for?(ah! a mixedBaby Andy)!hehe!

There are times that you want to make the time so fast especially if you’re waiting for something very important to you, It could be a special occasion or a person. Do you feel the agony of waiting? For me, yes and to be honest, I can’t wait anymore! So to make the time comes faster than usual, all you have to do is, don’t mind the date of the day and don’t look at the clock!hehe! But instead invest your time productively by doing something that you enjoyed… why don’t you start your blog now? So many bloggers now a days are telling their friends to start today or you’ll be left behind hehe! Personally, the reasons I have blog now are the following : 1.) it will improve my communication skills( I need it becoz I have an Amguy of my life), 2.) It will give me so many informations about the world through reading other blogs and its links, 3.) This is my way to kill my time since I’m just at home, 4.) They said you can earn money from blogging so grab it, and 5. ) I can spread the good news to some of my friends who haven’t heard about it yet and guide them through.

When time comes that advertisers won’t accept bloggers anymore due to high numbers of bloggers already, I still continue my blog to express my thoughts and to avoid boredom, to have something to do at vacant time. Does it make sense?

So better shut ur mouth and remember I cooked it for my own stomach,and for YOU also if you like, if not then just drink water and leave the house and go to fastfood chain or cook ur own food.hehe!

* I don’t like irritable person. They have to be friendly.

* I’m afraid of the dog (askal).. you see me praying when I see a dog in the road.

* I like adventure a lot..but I’m a homebody too!

(For now I can’t tag this to other bloggers becoz I only have 2 friends as of now and they have this kind of tag already)

There’s something new to me, I just made a new blog at blogger, I have to make another  blog for commercial purposes like what I said in my previews post that I’ll try this thing. It’s so intersting to learn many things online(good stuffs only)..it helps my brain not to be drained,hehe! If my other blog is comercial, this one in wordpress is personal blog. I’ll share my everyday journal here. I got to be going , I still have so many details to read about blogging.. till next. Have a great day!

You might ask what bloggadagers mean, that word derived from “bloggers” and I just changed it to “bloggadagers” . Before I heard about blog, or blogger, I already used “bloggadag” or blagadag as an expression(binayot gud na sinultian oi). Anyway, while writing this post, I’m happy(ngisi pa gani) because I was able to add a page(Bloggadagers) on my blog!hehehe(mabaw kaayo kog kalipay nu?) and finally I added the  links of other bloggers (Lira and Jackie),my ever loyal virtual friends of mine!Thank you for adding me!(tagay ta ninyo!hehe lipay kaayo ba kay naa ko natun-an today).Tomorrow again.
